Do what you believe in and believe in what you do!

Tell your story and make yourself heard

The sense of motivation and joy about activating yourself is great. Sadly it’s a passing phenomenon and we constantly need new reasons to keep up the motivation. Motivation is our driving force, it’s what gives us the energy to change and evolve.

It’s also motivation that gives us the sense of always wanting more from life. When you’re really motivated, both your heart and mind are reaching for the same goal which makes us ready to take on whatever comes our way. The feeling can be summarized with a want for more, for something better, to become someone, to be loved and to be there for someone.

We are motivated every day to do more or less demanding things. Some things can be hard…and demand more motivation than something that appeals to us and we enjoy doing.

Who do I want to be and how do I want to be perceived?
The biggest providing factor of our self-confidence and our motivation is our surroundings. It’s not easy to find people to encourage you and makes it a good day. A good life is of course about your own choices, but also about what kind of people we choose to include in our life. Bubbling, happy and generous people increase your self-esteem, love for life and the sensation of safety. Safety in yourself, your role and your capacity.

It’s also important to take a step back from time to time. To take position to what your role is in your relationships. Who do I want to be, what do I want to mean to my friends and what do I want them to think about me as a person? What do I want them to see when they look at me? Do I want them to feel unsecure, inferior, fear or powerless. Do I want them to feel love, generosity, happiness and equality? It’s all about my behavior towards my surroundings.

What I give and what I take has to be in balance in order not to result in frustration.

Honesty gives respect
Motivate and lift your surroundings by being forgiving, unselfish and always honest. Our demands on our own ability is many times unachievable. It’s important to remember that we’re all people, individuals with hectic lives, big demands and strong feelings.

We want so much, try more and fail half of it… but what does it matter? Do we have to take ourselves so serious? Doesn’t respect come through honesty? Through the ability to admit to your flaws? The strength to acknowledge your defeats, grow through them and turn them into something good. This is motivation to me... The experiences in the past, together with the ambitions and goals to come.

Life’s hardships are what form our personality, capacity and goals. PLEASE let me know your story... Send me an email to zarah@childreninshape.com
