NLP Trainer´s physical plattformskills!

Today is day 5 of our NLP Trainer and today we talked about how to learn about physical plattformskills. Joseph (... O´connor... ) talked about the things that might be blocking your creativity and how to move your barriers. The 3 mainkeys for taking this challenge is to eliminate the enemies of creativity that you might have within you.

Your first enemy is your own internal dialogue and the distracting that comes with it. Instead of a negative internal dialogue, you can use some of your NLP-skills for the ability to change state. Some of the intresting skills for this purpose is the metamodel (looking from things from a outside wiew) or as we do in yoga, create your own mantra. Mantra often gives a clear mind, because of the cleansing that the monoton texture makes for your inner state.

The other enemy is your foveal vision and with that I meen athe stearing you do with your eye´s, while talking. If you do not use your peripral vision, then you loose your ability to se what´s happening around you. The last and important enemy is the one you can affect the least. That´s the access to a functional muscular tension and to a body that strong and presentable.

So... Let go of your inner voice, your foveal vision and concentrate your focus on the ability to have a strong body, clear and wiewed site and a confidence that will help you reach your goals!

Beat svinflu with antioxidants!

With H1N1 (swine flu) infections on the rise along with growing concerns about the safety of the new vaccine, scientists have discovered a simple and safe way we can protect ourselves from the worst effects of the virus.

A diet that’s rich in antioxidants – vitamins A, C and E – can ward off the most damaging symptoms of swine flu, and of any flu, researchers have discovered this week.  The antioxidants protect the lungs from the M2 protein that’s found in every flu virus.  The protein stops the lungs from clearing out liquid, and it paves the way for pneumonia and other lung problems.

Compounds produced by frying, grilling, or pasteurizing may be driving inflammation and ageing, according to a new study from the US.

But reducing intakes of compounds called advanced glycation end products (AGEs) may reduce inflammation and help boost the body’s natural defences, according to results of a dietary intervention published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Olive oil component could avert Alzheimer’s

By Jane Byrne, 20-Oct-2009 (Source: Foodnavigator)

A compound in extra virgin olive oil could deter proteins from disrupting nerve cell function that causes the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's disease.

In findings published in the journal Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, US scientists explain how this naturally occurring compound, oleocanthal, beneficially alters the structure of highly toxic proteins known as ADDLs.

Eat processed food and get a depression!

People reporting a high consumption of processed foods could be more likely to experience depression in middle age, says a new study that suggests food should play a greater role in preventing depressive disorders.

Some research has suggested a link between nutrients like fatty acids and B vitamins and depression, but researchers from University College, London, saw there was a dearth of studies looking at overall diet and depression. Studies on the effects of the vegetable- and fish-laden Mediterranean diet have investigated links between food and Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, but not depression.
